How We Started

TheSeafoodCompany was established in Singapore in 2005 following a period of economic downturn. Having noticed a space in the market for frozen seafood, we launched the Business with a modest team and a shared commitment to bringing the finest seafood products to consumers.

Building upon our experience in fish ball production, we started out with a focus on the import and distribution of frozen seafood. We soon extended our reach into service distribution, connecting manufacturers with the hotel, restaurant, and catering sector.

Since the beginning, we have taken pride in sourcing the world for our partners and clients. We have devoted our efforts to ensuring consistency in the quantity and quality of our seafood. These continue to form the foundations of what we do today and have helped to cement TheSeafoodCompany as a leading provider of seafood in Singapore.

 
 

How We Grow

Following our venture into the HORECA sector, we entered the retail space in 2006. With this, we introduced our products directly to end consumers while educating the market on the merits of frozen seafood. Our message of consistency and reliability helped propel our next decade's growth.

By 2015, we were looking beyond Singapore's shores, determined to take TheSeafoodCompany and our team's passion for seafood to a broader audience. We invested in technology and operations that improved our products' access and enhanced our supply chain reliability. We also began to export our brand as a Product of Singapore.

At the same time, we set out to develop an online trading platform for our products that would serve not just the domestic market but all of Southeast Asia. We envision a consolidated hub for the region's distributors, suppliers, and consumers, leveraging Singapore's connectivity to deliver products promptly.

Through the years, we have remained dedicated to our pursuit of becoming the best-selling brand locally. In time, we endeavor to grow into a regional company with footprints across Southeast Asia, introducing our customers and partners to the sea flavors.
